Biwako Valley Ticket

• Ride the 1,783-metre ropeway to the mountaintop in around five minutes while enjoying views through its glass cabin.
• Take in views of Lake Biwa from the Grand Terrace and North Terrace at Biwako Terrace.
• Ride the sightseeing lifts towards Mount Horai, the highest point at Biwako Valley, for a 360-degree panorama.

Child policy: - Children under 3 years old are free of charge. - Children must be accompanied by a paying adult when riding the sightseeing lifts. Good to know: - The QR code issued is a voucher. Please exchange it for a boarding ticket at the counter on the day of your visit. - The ropeway is wheelchair accessible, while the mountaintop area is partially barrier free. - Strollers can be taken on the ropeway. - Ropeway service may be suspended due to strong winds or thunderstorms. - Pets must travel in a carrier that completely conceals their body when using the ropeway and Biwako Terrace. - Pets are not permitted from December to March. - Check the official website for the daily opening hours and closure dates prior to your visit.
