National Palace Museum Child policy: - Free of charge: Children 17 years of age and under. Taipei 101 Observatory - Free of charge: Children five years of age and under. - Children under 115 cm in height are free of charge National Palace Museum: Operating hours: - Exhibition (Main Building)(closed on Mondays): 09:00 am - 17:00 pm - Zhishan Garden (closed on Mondays): 08:00 am - 17:00 pm - Five free entrance days for the museum: New Year’s Day (01 January), the Lantern Festival (varies yearly), International Museum Day (18 May), World Tourism Day (27 September) and National Day (10 October). Taipei 101 Observatory: - Operating hours: 11:00 am -21:00 pm, daily. Last admission is at 20:15 pm.
